This has been a busy month. I'll give you a quick rundown!
Charlie McVey was baptised on November 7th. It was a great day for our entire family. Alot of family and church members came to show their support. Charlie was baptised by Geary. My father, Don Mayberry, and Jessica's uncle, Ken Hieronymi spoke. Both talks were really awesome. Congratulations Charlie!
Spence received the Melchizidek priesthood on November 13th! This was done in preparation for his mission. He plans on turning in his papers and leaving sometime in February. First he has to have his wisdom teeth taken out! He is really looking forward to that.
Nick injured his knee during basketball practice and has to have surgery on November 23d. It is an outpatient procedure that should only take 30 minutes or so. You know that means he'll be at the hostpital all day answering repetitious questions and filling out paperwork. I hope he recovers quickly and can get back in the game. He was supposed to be a starter on the JV team. Hopefully he'll be on the court in 4-6 weeks.
Emily has been busy with games, as you can see. This is her last year of High School sports. The head coach from Shelton University in Tuscaloosa came to watch her play against New Hope. Emily would love to go to school there. She wants to study psychology.
Brandon is finished with football. The team didn't have a great season, but Brandon is really improving as a player. He did a great job! We loved hearing the announcer call his name. We look forward to next year.
Megan keeps busy spending time with friends. She is looking forward to playing softball in the spring. she just keeps getting prettier and prettier. And the boys are always "calling". Don't worry, Geary has a gun loaded and ready! Ha Ha!
Amber is doing great in school. She made straight As and is enjoying all her classes. check her out on facebook. Her photographs are awesome. Let her do your portraits. She's really creative and talented.
Melissa and Alex are enjoying their new home and will be having us all over on Thanksgiving. We are looking forward to the feast.
Jessica McVey is in the management training program at Dillards....she loves the power! Charlie just got a new job at a car dealership. We are so glad he found a good job when so many others are looking for work.
Kenny, Jessica and the girls are doing great. Hannah just had her 3d birthday and we are going to her party tomorrow.
That's all for now! Stay posted!
