NEW HOPE – The Lady Indians survived an overtime scare to get their season opening win. New Hope led 21-11 at the half but failed to score in the third quarter allowing Woodville to take a 26-21 lead heading into the fourth quarter. The Lady Indians rebounded to tie the game and secure the overtime victory.
Paige Collier led New Hope (1-0) with 16 points.
For Woodville (2-1) Emily Huston led with 13 points and Bailee Webb added 10.
