This year was Nick's first year to play basketball. Since he's in 7th grade he plays on the Junior High Team. Unfortunately, the local papers don't follow the junior high teams so the only details I can give are that they won this game against Skyline. The crowd was cheering and yelling the team on to victory. Nick is a good player and has improved a lot over the past year. He's very aggressive and actually had a technical called on him during his final game of the season.
We really got a kick out of watching Nick play. He suffered no shortage of support since it was like a Mundt family reunion in the stands. Their team had a rough year and Nick isn't sure he wants to play again next year. We are really encouraging him. Winning isn't everything. You'll never succeed if you don't get on the court and fight a few battles. I often think of the movie We Are Marshall. Sometimes you have to fight for the future. Keep on Playing Nick. We're really proud of you!
