Wedding Update

In an earlier post we announced that Melissa and Alex were engaged to be married. Apparently the love birds couldn't wait for November and eloped in August. Yes....August. We found out on September 20th. They kept a very good secret! Melissa and Alex cancelled their reception plans and decided they would rather have dinner with all the parents. I am excited to meet The Ramos family.

Today is Melissa and Alex's 2 month anniversary. Geary and I went to their apartment in Huntsville last Sunday. It is a very nice apartment. They have pictures hung, and everything is organized in bins and baskets. I must say it's amazingly well kept! We never would have guessed that any of our kids would be good housekeepers.

Here is the bridesmaid dress that Jessica bought. If anybody needs a bridesmaid for a wedding please contact Jessica. She is dying to wear this! She looks beautiful, huh? (Don't ask me why they took this picture in the kitchen. At least the dishes were done!)

You never know what's gonna happen at our house. Maybe Jessica will be trading the black bridesmaid dress in for a white wedding dress. No...nothings up. At least not today.
