This has been a busy year.

Geary's oldest child, Kenny, was married to Jessica G. in October 2007. Kenny has a daughter, Kaitlyn, from his first marriage. Jessica and Kenny blessed our family once again on November 17, 2008 with a new Granddaughter - Hannah. Kaitlyn is a wonderful big sister and Hannah is a little angel.

Jessica Mundt (not to be confused with Kenny's wife also named Jessica) keeps busy working at Lowes. She is our scrapbooker and official family letter writer. She's very good at keeping up with her friends - especially missionaries! Jessica is the Chorister at church and is also the assistant Nursery leader.

Melissa Mundt is going to Virginia College full time. She is working very hard and we are proud to say she made the Presidents List. WAY TO GO, LYSSA! She will finish school in June and will be an official Hair Stylist. Yeah. Melissa teaches the Sunbeam class at church and LOVES being in Primary.

Amber Huston is a senior in High School. She's working full time at Taco Bell and is saving her money to go to college. She wants to study Fashion Merchandising and Design. Amber is very artistic and musical.
We love to hear her singing and playing the piano. She has a great voice! Maybe we'll see her on American Idol someday.

Spencer Mundt is a sophomore in High School. His passion is Skateboarding! Because of his love for skateboarding he has also become quite good at filming and editing videos. I'll post some of his footage later on. His skateboarding videos are really good! Lately Spencer has showed an interest in music. He likes to play the piano and enjoys jamming with his mom and step-dad. His favorite group is STYX. It's a little retro...but really cool. We're having fun on the piano together.

Emily Huston is a freshman in High School. She is the youngest member of the Varsity Basketball Team. She's so much fun to watch. Emily is our family jock! Any body wanna arm wrestle? I think her aunt Alicia is the only girl who can beat her. This spring Emily will be playing Softball. Emily has excelled at every thing she has tried to do: wrestling, basketball, snowboarding, soccer, basketball, and softball. She rocks at guitar hero, and DDR! She's got the moves.

Brandon Huston is in the 7th grade. How can that be? He played football for a couple years and had a lot of fun. Last year he started working out with the team and then decided that he'd rather try out for Baseball. This year will be his first year to play. Brandon likes the great outdoors and enjoys archery, shooting, camping, and hiking. Geary and Brandon's Grandpa Mayberry have Brandon hooked on cars! He too is on the music kick and bought himself and electric guitar and an amp this summer. Brandon is a Deacon at church...we are proud of him for fulfilling his calling.

Nicolas Mundt is in the 6th grade. He too likes to skateboard...but isn't as enthusiastic as his big brother. Nick got a guitar and an amp for Christmas so he and Brandon can jam together. Nick is a quiet guy...he loves video games especially guitar hero! He can play on the expert level. It is quite impressive. Nick is the only member of the Mundt family who can spell. He's our walking dictionary! Nick is a Deacon at church and takes his job of passing the sacrament very seriously. We're really proud of him.

Megan Huston is in the 4th grade and is the baby of our family. Megan is a cheerleader and loves to sing and dance. Her sisters, Jessica and Melissa have introduced her to scrapbooking, so you can just imagine all the art supplies littering her bedroom floor! Believe me, you can't imagine...it's unbelievable. Megan is always happy, greets everyone with a hug, and loves to entertain you with her stories.

Geary Mundt is the most amazing man that ever lived! He built our house, and he's almost done! Maybe 2009 will be the year to complete that project. He's very talented and creative and I'm very proud of all the work he's done. Besides working full time for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he also has his own repair business! Right now he works for the Army Corp of Engineers and Patrick Wellness Center maintaining their work out equipment. This year Geary helped a co-working finish building her house, put siding on one of my co-workers houses, and remodeled someones bathroom. I don't know how he does it all...but he truly DOES it all. He's always home be 7 pm in time to visit with our kids, eat dinner, and piddle around our house. Geary is very generous with his money and made sure all of the kids had great Christmas. He even surprised his wife with a "new" used car. It's a gorgeous blue 2000 Hyundai Tiberon. (TOO COOL...and way too quick for a wife who's known to have a lead foot!) Geary does all of this and is the Young Men's president in our ward. Geary's favorite things are me (ha ha) 32 Fords, dark chocolate, cookies, and vanilla ice-cream.

I guess I'm the only one left. I'm Angela and I'm the luckiest woman that ever lived. I have 9 amazingly talented kids, and the best husband in the world. We've been married for almost a year and a half (but have been together since 2005) and I'm proud to say we haven't had an argument yet. It's true...and it's great. It's the best thing in the world to be married to your best friend. I work full time for Dynetics in the IT Department. I teach early morning Seminary. I love to play the piano, and feel very blessed to be a member of our church. I hope to keep up with the blog so you can enjoy a little bit of the "Mundt Experience." Stay tuned to see what 2009 brings!
